Zamzom Wireless Network Tool provides an answer to the question “Who is connected to my wireless network?” You see, this tool will scan your network – it can perform a quick or a deep scan of your network. Once the scan completes, the application’s interface will show a list of all the devices that are connected to your network. The list includes IP addresses, MAC addresses, and computer names.

Download an installer, run it, and then follow the instructions presented onscreen by a setup wizard. These are the simple steps you must go through to install Zamzom Wireless Network Tool on your Windows-powered PC. The nice thing is that you will spend very little time completing the installation process.

Speaking about that, you will also spend very little time figuring out this application’s interface. At the top, you will see your MAC address, your computer name, your IP address, and your wireless IP range (which can be edited if you click the Edit button from the top left hand corner). In the middle you will see buttons to initiate a Fast Scan or a Deep Scan. Underneath these buttons, at the bottom of the interface, you will see a list that features all the computers that are connected to your PC – the list presents IP addresses and MAC addresses; the list can be saved as a JPEG, BMP or GIF image.

Double click an entry on the list or press the Name button and you will be presented with that computer’s name. Mind you, that’s if you have the Premium version of Zamzom Wireless Network Tool. You see, Zamzom Wireless Network Tool is available as a free Basic version and as a paid Premium version. The Basic version does not allow you to see computer names; to see computer names you have to upgrade to the paid Premium version.

Launch Zamzom Wireless Network Tool, scan your network, and you will thus see all the devices that are connected to it.

Pros

To get Zamzom Wireless Network Tool up and running you will have to complete a standard installation process. You will very quickly figure out this application’s interface. You can perform a Quick or a Deep Scan. All devices that are connected to your network are displayed as a list; the list can be saved as a JPEG, BMP or GIF image.

Cons

The free Basic version does not allow you to see computer names. Tip I recently reviewed a couple of free applications that have similar functionality to offer: SoftPerfect WiFi Guard and Wireless Network Watcher.
